Responsibilities
- Contributes to strategic planning, financial management and day to day running of the organization
- Responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company
- Preparing budgets, financial reports, taxes and audit functions, among others
- Analyzes and reports on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth, including analysis and recommendation on M&A and fundraising opportunities
- Support General management in the analysis and execution of the business plan
- Lead the budgeting process, cost savings initiatives and implementation
- Negotiations and business partnering with investors, banks and advisors
- Cash Management.
- Responsible for the approval of day to day treasury movements adhering to the appropriate financial policy and procedures of the organization
- Legal compliance
- Supervise HR, Financial and Corporate development teams.
Experience- Holds at Business Administration
- At least 4 years of overall professional experience; ideally 2 years of broad financial experience in a similar role in a fast paced and winning organizational culture
- Ability to translate financial concepts to colleagues who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds.
- An ace with Excel, Power Point and reporting tools
- A successful track record in setting priorities: keen analytic, organisation and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
